We provide our employees and their families with an internal medical office and pharmacy service. As part of this support, we offer psychological consultations, vaccination programs, and more.

For over 30 years, our Scholarship program has been promoting access to education for children and young people, which has been reflected in their comprehensive development.

We grant scholarships to our employees' children as support and incentive for them to continue studying. We also have a classroom where our employees can take primary, secondary, and high school classes.

We will continue to encourage education, not only intellectual but also that which carries with it family, moral, ethical, and social values.

We know that a dream doesn't magically come true: patience, determination, and hard work are needed, even sweating, all without losing sight of the goal we want to achieve, an example of this is the program implemented in La Huerta "This is your home."

Free transportation service is provided to all La Huerta employees. Currently, there are several routes and buses to facilitate their daily commute, all with the aim of taking care of their well-being and providing greater comfort.

We have a daycare center (CENDI), which is incorporated into the Institute of Education of the State of Aguascalientes (IEA), where support for training first-time mothers is also provided.

At La Huerta, we take care of our most valuable treasure: Our family.

In our CENDI, over 80 children are attended to, receiving daily breakfast, lunch, reinforced snacks, hydration, and milk formulas. Additionally, their health and nutrition are continuously monitored.

As a physical and mental development program, we offer:

Without a doubt, the sum of efforts deserves to be rewarded every day. Sharing the table is a symbol of unity, something that is very important for the La Huerta group to achieve our goals because beyond being co-workers, we are a great Family.

Inside La Huerta facilities, there is a dining room where meals monitored by nutritionists and prepared by a great kitchen team are served to all our employees. Currently, more than 1000 dishes are served daily.

When a worker is pregnant, she is assigned special tasks to avoid putting her and her baby at risk, such as light manual activities, and if a change of area is required, it will be done for her comfort. In addition, a flexible schedule is provided so they can attend medical appointments during working hours.

Personal loans are granted with a 0% interest rate, in order to support our employees in times of need. To date, 4845 workers have benefited from this program.

Always looking beyond... The company "La Huerta" seeks the safety, comfort, and improvement of the quality of life for its workers and the inhabitants of nearby communities by constructing a 4.01 km bidirectional bike path.

What is Biological Control? Biological Control is the use of living organisms in order to control pest populations. We make our own compost in order to have healthier food. Our compost production is so big, we can fertilize up to 1,286 futbol fields.

We have a fuel economy program, which allows us to save up to 424,000 liters every year. For you to get a better idea, this is the equivalent of traveling around Earth 59 times.

At La Huerta we use a drip irrigation method that help us use water as it optimum level. The water is infiltrated into the roots and this allows us to save up to 69% of water, if we compare it to toothed irrigation methods like gravity irrigation. Nutrients are effectively used by the crops and offers a 20% more superior performance.

At La Huerta we have an electricity saving program which allows us to save 2,400,000 kWh every year. This is equivalent to all the electricity used in 896 homes a year.

We recycle everything that can be reused: over 90% of wood, plastic, and cardboard boxes. We also recycle 100% of the used oil in engines, compressors, and others.

We use Biological Control, which involves the use of living organisms to regulate the populations of other pest organisms. This avoids the use of chemical pesticides, nullifying harmful effects on plantations, the people who handle them, and the environment, obtaining healthier and more wholesome products. Moreover, this system prevents the emergence of secondary pests, does not generate resistance or residues, and is 100% natural.
At La Huerta, we offer natural products that are beneficial for your health and environmentally friendly, thanks to our Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program, in which Biological Control is an important tool for reducing pests naturally.
We have laboratories for breeding beneficial insects to be used in crops; these insects and other beneficial organisms help us combat pests, significantly reducing the use of pesticides.
Just as in this process, we strive in the others to offer the best in our products.

We take advantage of the natural waste generated at different stages of our processes to produce our compost, which helps us fertilize our crops and obtain healthier and more natural food. The amount of compost we generate is equivalent to fertilizing up to 1,286 soccer fields.

Throughout our entire production chain, we implement a program that allows us to save 424,000 liters of fuel per year. This resource conservation, equivalent to 159 trips around the Earth, enables us to optimize our work and protect our planet.

Over 90% of the wood, plastic, and cardboard boxes we use in our production process, as well as 100% of the used oil (engine, compressors, etc.), are recycled so that we can reuse them, optimize our resources, and protect our environment. Our packaging is 100% recyclable.
