A delicious cream soup is always welcome to accompany your dishes. In this case, we share the recipe for a Mushroom Cream Soup that, besides being delicious, is super easy and quick to prepare.

You will need:

  • 1 bag of La Huerta Sliced Mushrooms (previously thawed)
  • 1 teaspoon of butter or olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, chopped
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 2 cups of low-fat milk
  • ½ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

  1. In a hot pan, add the butter and as soon as it melts, add the onion and garlic until they become translucent.
  2. Add the mushrooms and cornstarch, cook for 3 more minutes.
  3. Pour the previous mixture into a blender, add the milk, nutmeg, salt, and pepper to taste, and blend.
  4. Pour the cream back into the pan, stir until it thickens, and it will be ready once it comes to a boil.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
